Farmeci is a platform that brings together prescribers and pharmacies to give you access to medication in a fast and efficient manner.
Prescribers on Farmeci are vetted and checked to ensure they are allowed and able to issue medication prescriptions for appropriate treatments. We ensure that they are either CQC or GPHC approved.
Pharmacies on Farmeci are all GPHC regulated and approved. They are all bricks and mortar stores that can be found on the high street! No virtual or faceless dispensing pharmacies on Farmeci.
As we bring together prescribers and pharmacies, Farmeci does not hold any stock or issue and prescriptions ourselves.

Dr. Vera Lintelmann
Dr Lintelmann spent many years of her early career in Accident and Emergency Medicine where she enjoyed the variety of cases however, eventually she felt that she had spent enough time in a high-pressure environment, and moved onwards to undertake medico-legal work. Later, she spent some time working for the government in Disability Assessment Medicine. For the past 10 years Dr Lintelmann has been working in the Obesity and Weight Management field, which she thoroughly enjoys. Dr Lintelmann says “I enjoy learning about each individual patient’s problems which led to weight gain, and I really love working with each patient to find the best way forward to successful weight management.

Charlotte Ponsaing

Charlotte qualified as a registered nurse in Denmark 2006 and later specialised as an emergency nurse practitioner in A&E. As a keen runner and fitness enthusiast Charlotte has always had a great interest in how mental and physical health are strongly connected and how nutrition and movement influence both. Working in healthcare grew the interest and passion for helping patients to a healthier lifestyle. Charlotte sees her patients as individuals and cares about supporting them to a weight loss that can be maintained.

Having held roles as a Specialist Clinical Nurse Manager, delivering a range of medical treatments, Jemma is passionate about delivering excellent results-driven treatments to our patients. Jemma has a keen interest in health, well being and fitness and is a true advocate of the results that Weightmedics can deliver to so many patients. Most recently, Haroon has been working as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist specialising in chronic disease management reviews such as Diabetes, COPD and Nutritional supplementation. He has in-depth knowledge and specialist experience prescribing GLP-1 medications including Semaglutide, Liraglutide and Dulaglutide. Haroon is always on hand to answer any questions you may have about your medications and treatment plan and will work with you to help you achieve your goals. Outside of work, Haroon spends his time keeping active, playing football, and entertaining his three young children.
