Oestrogel 80g plus 30 Utrogestan Caps 100mg Monthly Combination Pack

This pack combines two key hormone replacement therapies: Oestrogel, a topical estrogen gel, and Utrogestan, a progesterone capsule. The two are often used together to provide balanced hormone replacement, particularly for women who still have their uterus and are seeking relief from menopausal symptoms.

• Oestrogel: Oestrogel contains estradiol, a bioidentical form of estrogen. When applied to the skin, it is absorbed into the bloodstream, raising estrogen levels and reducing menopausal symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, and mood changes.
• Utrogestan: Utrogestan contains progesterone, which counteracts the risk of endometrial cancer that can arise from estrogen-only therapy. It is particularly necessary for women with an intact uterus to balance the effects of estrogen.

• Oestrogel: Apply the prescribed amount of gel once daily to the skin on the shoulder, outer arm, or thigh. This gel is easily adjustable, making it a flexible option compared to other forms of estrogen replacement.
• Utrogestan: Take 200mg of Utrogestan daily at bedtime for 12 days during the second half of each cycle (Day 15–26). Alternatively, a dose of 100mg daily from Day 1 to Day 25 may be prescribed, with less bleeding in this regimen.
