Frequently Asked Questions for Zineryt Solution

How Zineryt Works

Zineryt Lotion works by combining two active ingredients, erythromycin and zinc acetate, to effectively combat acne. Erythromycin is an antibiotic that targets Propionibacterium acnes, the bacteria responsible for acne, by disrupting its protein production, which reduces inflammation, prevents the spread of bacteria, and minimises new breakouts. Zinc acetate enhances the effectiveness of erythromycin, promotes skin healing, and reduces redness and irritation. Together, these ingredients address the root causes of acne by eliminating acne-causing bacteria, soothing inflamed sebaceous glands, and supporting the skin’s recovery process. This dual-action formula helps to clear acne, reduce redness, and prevent future breakouts, restoring balance to the skin.

Directions for Use

  • Preparation:
    • Wash your hands and affected area thoroughly with warm water and soap.
  • Application:
    • Apply Zineryt Lotion to the entire affected area (not just individual spots) twice daily, morning and evening.
    • Allow the solution to dry completely before applying makeup.
  • Course Duration:
    • Use as prescribed, typically for 10-12 weeks for the best results.
    • If a dose is missed, apply it as soon as you remember but avoid applying two doses close together.

Side Effects

Most users tolerate Zineryt well, but some may experience mild side effects, including:

  • Temporary stinging or redness.
  • Dryness or irritation in the treated area.
  • Rare allergic reactions, including wheezing, swelling, or severe skin reactions (seek immediate medical attention).
